he has never booked anything good in his life and his invasion fantasy booking is genuinely some of the worst fantasy booking ive ever seen. if you got 100 average wrestling fans in a room, even the stupidest person in that room would not book something as bizarre and fucked up as cornette's invasion booking. hes a decent manager if you want someone to annoy people, but how he has managed to convinced people he is some kind of booking genius, despite there being no evidence for it, is hilarious
cornette fans like to claim he made batista, orton, cena and lesnar in ovw. wwe scouted them all and paid for them. cornette was a glorified babysitter. that was his job. they learnt how to wrestle from actual wrestlers, and when they made it up to the main roster were all still green as shit. batista and orton learnt way more from triple h and flair. all 4 guys developed way more on the main roster. batista has said he had to unlearn all the shit cornette taught him. cena could already cut great promos before ovw, you can see him in a 1999/2000 documentary. cornette taught them nothing. he gave batista a demon gimmick. for every cena that came out of ovw there was 10 other shitters like the bashams (cornette made one of the bashams his main star in ovw lol)
