He was realistically never sniffing main event championship matches ever again, since his initial WWF run from 1993-1996 as Diesel. So when the nWo came to the WWF at No Way Out 2002, only Hogan looked like a semi-star who only got the WWF World Championship Belt as a reward for losing to The Rock at WrestleMania X8 while getting cheered as a heel.

Going into the InVasion angle and afterwards, there were skepticism in regards to whether Hogan, Hall and Nash would all be on their best behavior functioning well with others in the WWF locker rooms, given that Hogan and Nash were backstage behind-the-scenes game players in WCW, while Hall constantly showed up to WCW events legit drunk from 1998 up until his release in 2000.

End result was that only Hogan had a good run, Nash had a decent run before his injuries forced him out of the WWF, and to no one’s surprise, Hall blew his chances away by being sauced at WM X8 vs Stone Cold, got drunk around the Raw-exclusive Insurrextion PPV, his own participation in the infamous Plane Ride incident mainly involving washed up veteran Curt Hennig and upcoming star Brock Lesnar that led to Hall and Hennig getting canned quickly, and since Hennig wasn’t as popular as Hall, Hennig got a much shorter leash since Hall only earned a WWF return deal through Nash.

And those are my thoughts on Kevin Nash’s 2002-03 WWF run in a nutshell.
