They aren't boring at all lol
Just the fact he has people tap out to multiple different submissions to his, which makes him actually a risk of winning through any of them, makes his matches exciting.
He's always a breath of fresh air in every single show he's at, no matter the company.

I've only seen his work in the CWC and I thought he was pretty dull. If he's improved since then, more power to him. I've never been big on "muh in-ring technicians" anyways though.

ZSJ does do the grappling shit someone could argue is boring but he mixes in crazy brutal strikes too that’s outright impressive for someone his size. If you don’t like one you probably like the other, if you don’t like either then go watch CMLL because western or jap wrestling just isn’t for you

Zack is one of the only guys who went to Japan and got better as a wrestler. Only posers who pretend to watch wrestling shit on him, including Japanese fans who cream their pants over Fujiwara & Fujinami. Zack's got a great old-school style and a throwback to what wrestling used to be, but he's got enough modern flare and personality to keep people entertained with it.
