Other than that the PPV was really solid stuff.

I feel kinda bad for Page he was in my opinion the mvp of the match and he wasn't even involved in the shitshow that happened in the final two minutes. At least Okada got a big pop and Jay retained the title.

They could've just done Jay White vs Hangman. Easy MOTY candidate right there. Okada could've sat this one out until next year with Kenny but I don't mind his inclusion. This shit all falls a part when you add Cole. I can't recall anyone, anywhere being happy he was added to the match. It was either indifference or contempt. But Tony swears by Atom Smol for reasons no rational thinking human can comprehend and look what happens. The little boy gets hurt. People shat on him since the beginning of his AEW run and he just proved them right. Hopefully he gets a clue after this.

Page just lost his belt and Okada is literally in the top tier of protected competitors globally. Nobody would care if Page dropped a match to Okada and it could set up great stuff for the future.

Uhhh they had months to do a build and a story. Booker of the year. People will look back on AEW (as a whole not just this ppv) the same way they look back at the invasion. They have all of these names and talent but instead of putting on marquee matches with those names and talent, they're wasting time putting them witg jobbers in matches with no heat.
