IRL, its fake.
IKL, Id assume that in the contract a wrestler signs it tells them they can not hold another wrestler responsible for any injuries they get in and out of the ring, because they need to get permission to be protected from another wrestler, like when someone gets a no contact clause before a big match.

yep wrestling promoters started calling it a work to get around athletics commissions. we saw what happened to ufc. people tried to ban it for years, they nearly went out of business. they tell the authorities it's a work and the wrestlers agree to settle their beefs in the ring instead of pressing charges. remember when nwo beat up rey mysterio people called the police and wcw had to tell the police it was a work to make them go away
