People forget Vince cut him for these reasons. I mean I dont like Cole, but lets be honest; it's Vince actually calling the action through Cole. But Vince basically said JR is a miserable sack of shit that brings everyone down with his negativity. I still remember when the Pat Patterson and Briscoe were coming down to help Vince against Austin. JR said "Here comes Pat bringing it up the rear like always.". Because he was insanely jealous of Pats relationship with Vince. after that Vince jumped his ass.

On top of that, he's just gotten old and can't really do it anymore. There's nothing embarrassing about that. He should walk away to preserve his legacy. He's going for Harry Carrey mode.
