New Japan guys received zero build for their matches and were given little shine IMO

It’s not completely nuts.
I left thinking it was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen from start to finish where every single match was good to incredible. Usually there’s at LEAST one dud or cool down match but this was the first show where absolutely every single match in that ring was great

That said, The IWGP Hebbyq is too high considering the finish and should’ve been at ****. Mox/Tanas match was great though. The issue was the post match killing what should’ve been a historic moment and turned it into a commercial for Blood and Guts. Still the match itself was great.

Me neither. If there's anything Meltzer loves, it's overrating Ass Spray matches by giving them 1 star to 2 stars more than they deserve. Maybe he checked himself cause he realized that if he did that this time around, Ospreay would go over Omega in the number of 5 or 5+ star matches.
