Is there a more giving top guy in contemporary wrestling? He got so much shit for being competitive with jobbers, lost almost all his major singles matches in 2019, and refused to leave for rehab until he could finish the story with Hangman. So many people were put over in other ways too, like how Hangman would get the pin in almost every tag match they had, or how he’d let low card guys like Matt Sydel and Dante Martin one up him. I seriously can’t think of another top guy like Roman, Punk, or Cody who’d let Marco Stunt one up them multiple times in a match.
