Whats one thing you dislike about modern wrestling?
>For me it’s good angles being dropped for no (onscreen) reason. I miss the days when a storyline would develop for months, and never getting tired of seeing the wrestlers involved

The fact we are supposed to pretend that women’s wrestling should be taken as seriously as men’s and not a fast forward/piss break. there are less than 10 women in the world who can have a match half as good as the average male talent. No problem with women’s shoot sports, but in wrestling the vast majority of them are dainty, uncoordinated, unathletic and uncharismatic.

more than a single tag division. women tag team wrestling is stupid. brand splits are stupid.
match specific pay per views. remember when they would give away stipulation matches on live tv?
pg era. wrestling is jerry springer, not the disney channel.
signing random people from india or africa or wherever. do we believe this shit? the global territory stuff is terrible.
the japan raid. everybody big in japan is suddenly big in america and will be signed by a big promotion. they don't even speak english, how are we supposed to connect with them as an audience?
everything jim cornette says not being taken seriously.

I miss promos. AEW still has them but the women don't. It is obvious they are reciting, even if they wrote it. I would rather hear someone give a bad promo than read a script. At least a bad promo is real.

Women's wrestling. I don't see why they've been told to wrestle like men, it results in botches and they just aren't as athletic. Not to mention the ropes and ring just aren't built for them. They should be wrestling more mat based styles, since they're more naturally flexible. It wouldn't expose them as much.

Big guys doing small guy moves.
There are some that work for big guys, like a moonsault or a shotgun dropkick, but when a 300+lbs wrestler does an enzugiri it just looks so unimpactful and soft.
Doesn't help that for whatever reason every huge guy seems to want to do flippyshit.

Much like in movies, people don't give enough credit to comedy wrestling. It's a lot harder than the expectations are. There are legit 5 star comedy matches out there because they commit to the bit, WeeLC for example is WWE's best comedy match they've ever done. But barely anyone gives comedy the credit it deserves.
