I will re-post here where it probably should have been initially placed... This is purely to stimulate conversation on the topic so any genuine opinion or perspective is appreciated and encouraged. However, if your only goal is to cheerlead in a contrary fashion, please find the appropriate thread elsewhere as BOTH or ANY side of this issue deserves to be taken seriously...
Not sure how well its going to go over with international audiences, but the whole "now there is an Undertaker knock-off in a cheap Halloween costume "killing" wrestlers" angle is bound to be a loser in their domestic scene among all but the most ardent Stardom supporters and individual wrestler simps. These are exactly the same sort of decisions which helped sink the AJW ship which at one point was unthinkable, as it was a money printing machine and enjoyed fanatical levels of support from its devotees. Cage matches were also among their unsuccessful, desperate gambles in those dark days so it seems he either hasn't learned his lesson or has some sort of specific point to prove/axe to grind.
He is involved in on-camera activity with the talent more than ever and is taking bumps and fooling around (looking old and feeble while doing so) but if this was disastrous back then, what makes anyone think it will work this time around? There has been talk of similar issues regarding his time at Arison as well. To make matters worse, he just killed a bunch of heat which (arguably) the most recognizable name in the promotion (SLK) had built up and made her look weak and ridiculous by incorporating her as a "victim" into his costume-ball fantasies. The top heel in the promotion just got choked out by someone playing dress up...
