>>6282525We have a population of a billion people. This is bound to happen since many people are still poor (Also resources cannot be allocated properly due to massive size of the population and land mass and also the added corruption) But things have drastically changed.
Swacch bharat abhiyan (basically clean india campaign) Changed public consciousness about cleanliness a lot. Like it is actually scary to think that all members of the society went along with it.
Streets have gotten fairly cleaner (Tangent but this is most likely Delhi, which has a huge refugee culture IE most people are migrants from other states so most people generally do not care about city and treat it like their cum dumpster and not to mention bad city planning for 30 million citizens living there) people are now finally using toilets made by govt, implementation is being done properly etc.
It is changing but you still find stuff like this. we are still figuring a way out
