I want to try it with a restored version but the blood and excess of violence seem too common in the show

yeah. either watch the monthly supercards or Hardcore TV, but not both (since Hardcore TV was just the supercard chopped up into hour segments with a ton of vignettes and promos). start around January '95 and keep going until Justin Credible is the top guy. then it becomes shit.
