Is it actually over for Big E's wrestling career? Unless I'm misunderstanding it he's saying he's definitely out until next year, and then he'll have to see what's going on.

For sure. Even if the stars align and he heals up well, that shit ain't going back to how it was pre injury. He's so bulky and moves so fast that unless he really wants to risk being in a wheelchair the rest of his life so he can lose to omos on the preshow, it ain't worth it.

The first sentence indicates that his body is having trouble healing. The second sentence indicates that the doctors are unsure why the healing has not begun, and they suggest to wait a few more months in hopes that his body begins to heal. This is honestly not great news. It seems like he is having lots of set backs and I'd be surprised if he returns to the ring in the next 2 years if ever.

not at all. the fact that it’s not completely fucked and requiring spinal surgery is great news. ossification of spinal bones is a well funded science so he will have plenty of options once he has his reevaluation. In the meantime, his recovery is paid for and will require plenty of easy workouts, diet, and chilling
