Issues with Rossy at Stardom...

No.6304860 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Not sure how well its going to go over with international audiences, but the whole "now there is an Undertaker knock-off in a cheap Halloween costume "killing" wrestlers" angle is bound to be a loser in their domestic scene among all but the most ardent Stardom supporters and individual wrestler simps. These are exactly the same sort of decisions which helped sink the AJW ship which at one point was unthinkable, as it was a money printing machine and enjoyed fanatical levels of support from its devotees. Cage matches were also among their unsuccessful, desperate gambles in those dark days so it seems he either hasn't learned his lesson or has some sort of specific point to prove/axe to grind.

He is involved in on-camera activity with the talent more than ever and is taking bumps and fooling around (looking old and feeble while doing so) but if this was disastrous back then, what makes anyone think it will work this time around? There has been talk of similar issues regarding his time at Arison as well. To make matters worse, he just killed a bunch of heat which (arguably) the most recognizable name in the promotion (SLK) had built up and made her look weak and ridiculous by incorporating her as a "victim" into his costume-ball fantasies. The top heel in the promotion just got choked out by someone playing dress up...

There have been warning signs all along such as the Act/Yoshiko incident which he sat through, the underage "photo books" and other questionable activity which is less publicized. I realize Bushiroad does not know how to successfully run Stardom, but does anyone else see danger signs for the promotion with him still at the helm? Btw, this isnt a bash on the talent there at all as they are world class and are helping to revolutionize the game, but imo it seems that the promotional brass are risking so much by engaging in these McMahon style carny theatrics.
