How can anyone deny how based this man was at this point in his career? He had millions of fans, was hugely over, got huge pops. His ring work was solid, he was no slouch in the ring. His gimmick? His gimmick was being a literal badass, a machine who levelled enemies with a sledgehammer. Why do smarks continue to harp on his career and hate on him? He deserved every reign of terror he had. Every jobber he squashed? Should have been squashed. They were not as over as he was. How about you just admit you don't know what happened backstage? How about you just fucking admit that you have no idea how any decision his legacy benefitted from were reached? That's right, you won't.
