If AEW finally turns the corner and starts making some 5-10 million profit per month, but then they have to turn around and pay Wardlow $3M/year, MJF $4M/year, Sammy $2M/year, Darby $3M/year, and on and on, it's going to be demoralizing. He's not going to be getting any MORE from those folks, but he'll be paying them 5, 7, 10x more to do the exact same thing they were already doing.
WWE brings a guy like AJ Styles in, but then AJ is on the road 100+ days a year. AEW brings a guy like Jericho in for around the money, and he wrestles 2 matches a month if that. It doesn't work long term, and the digital rights aren't there despite all the AEWtists screeching and whinging to the contrary.
