It wasn’t Russo and Hogan- it was just a revolving door of booking and bookers that none of which went together. They had Nash at one point calling the shots because the execs had fired the booker, and he was literally just there, so stories became odder and nothing went together because through 1999 to 2000 storylines did not have real connection. Just new bookie committee brought in and told work with whatever was left several times. It amazing WCW lasted till March 2001 with that kind of system going. And that is not even counting the other issues with tons of overhead costs. But ultimately, the reason that WCW no longer exists is because American Online after the merger with Warner gave the power at Turner to people who hated wrestling. That is why WCW is no longer around, Brutha.
