Yuta became an internet darling overnight because of his match with Danielson (and Regal heavily putting him over on the mic).

It's pretty clear there was no plan for him after he joined the BCC, especially since he has not had a single prominent moment then. The closest was the BR he lost to O'Reilly, and he got less of a pop than Takeshita and Andrade. He wasn't involved in the finish of B&G, either.
