It didn't even matter that only three of the seven members were any good and that one of said three was marked as a job guy from very early on. It didn't even matter that by far the best member of the group was fired a week in for the stupidest of fucking reasons. They had serious momentum. Way more than the sum of their parts.
Then Cena politicked to job them hard on successive PPVs. The group finally had some life pumped back into it when Punk took over, but they just jobbed 'em all again to Randy Orton. Even the Nexus members who left the Punk faction couldn't escape with their dignity intact. They formed a stable whose sole noteworthy match ended with them jobbed in seconds to Santino at Wrestlemania 27.
It was the most cursed stable ever. Mike Awesome's WCW career was more dignified.
