I have yet to see an Iron Man match that I actually liked. Triple H/Rock sucked, Lesnar/Angle sucked, any of the ones in the last ten years sucked. I think I just don't like the gimmick.

This match sucks. Bret and Shawn hated each other too much to have decent chemistry, sadly.

I think it's ridiculous that Bret vs. Shawn tops WWE's BEST RIVALRIES lists and shit, their actual feuds and matches were simply not very good. Only the build to the Screwjob was good, really, but the main reason everyone rates the feud is because of the Screwjob and because people know they actually hated each other.

Just like people saying the Rock/Austin feud was good, it was absolute trash with some dumb build about the Rock being managed by Debra.

HHH vs Rock was better because they had different finishes and it was a car crash. Angle vs Lesnar is a better version of this one and had the novelty of being on TV, so it didn't feel as long. I don't mind them once every couple of years. YOu just need good workers to make them work.

As for the first, Shawn and Bret were both faces and Bret was secretly trying to make the match shit.
