Outside brief periods, TNA was never "based". The best you could geberally say was that they weren't as bad as WWE, but even during their peak years, they were doing shit like the Reverse Battle Royale and the Blindfold Cage match.

It wasn't perfect sure but TNA was absolutely based. I'd easily take pre 2010 TNA over anything WWE and AEW puts out nowadays.

yeah that shit was funny and only nerd meltzer subscribers had a stick up their ass about everything tna was doing because they had a personal vendetta against the wcw guys and russo. reverse battle royale was a gimmick undercard match, it wasnt that serious. tna was a good show in the 2000s but the internet fans couldnt stop whining about russo and the older guys. they wanted all the literal whos in the main event so it could be a high budget roh that nobody would have watched. god forbid you try and put on some kind of entertainment
