He did a helleva job w/Josh Barnett when he post-commentated NJPW shows (plus a couple live events before AXS dropped them and he went to AEW) w/Josh Barnett.
Remember a young switchblade BTFO JR and Josh acted like he was about to shoot on White? I still wonder about that, simply cos Jay was still a rookie, more or less, and didn't have the sway to topple a guy like JR yet.

Maybe the whole thing was so good, I just marked out on a decent work

JR this days is too old for this gig plus his condition doesn't do him any favors. Back in his prime JR was the best but its way past that. Doesn't help that many of the shitters in AEW don't make it easy for JR to call the match when they do stupid shit.
