Hi all,
Twitter is down and I'm bored so I thought I would share some gossip I can't talk about there or squaredcircle or Id be banned. I
You can believe it or not but it's true.
I live in Japan and I'm friends of friends and acquaintances of a few freelance wrestlers and sometimes when we go out some of their Joshi wrestling friends will join us. Wrestlers love to gossip and the Japanese wrestlers are no different.
Anyways one of the joshi wrestlers was talking about some of her other friends who have had excursions to the US or plan on having some soon and one of their biggest concerns/fears. It was how black fans and black talent would treat them when they see them. All wrestlers name search on twitter and they would always see the black fans and wrestlers being insanely overtly sexual in their tweets and mentions over joshi wrestlers and were incredibly nervous about them doing so in person in the states. One of the wrestlers on a smaller indie show in the states in the south recently was harassed somewhat by some of the black talent trying to hit on them in a way that is WAY too forward for Japan etc. to the point one of the promoters had to ask them to stop.
I asked them about white fans but they said their experience with white fans that come to japan is they're harmless dorks like native fans for the most part.
If anyone has questions I can try to share more gossip AMA.
