Even the smart crowd is learning, as these articles go on, that the girl who accused Vince of paying her hush money was smitten and obsessed with Vince and basically barged into a job with tonnes of love just to get closer to Vince.
That's why WSJ moved on to former wrestlers and 10+ year old accusations. There's no truth in this first woman's story and they know it, but now they've committed they must press on with the slander campaign.
It wouldn't surprise me if WSJ goes the way of Gawker Media over this.
