If the booking wasn’t weird as fuck it would have been cool. Also, it should have been a trophy or something not every fucking thing in aew needs a belt, there’s gonna be more belts than wrestlers in that company.

but i dont know why he felt it was necessary. it's not like anybody has been trying to erase owen's legacy. wwe released a dvd and would do more if martha let them. wwe did a tribute show the day after it happened. it is very weird to me that tony felt the need to insert himself and do a memorial tournament for a guy who fell from someone else's roof while he was still in school. why not start doing tribute tournaments for every dead wrestler? why not do one for brian pillman too
