WWE is considering a change that would see Raw become a TV-14 rated show on USA Network. If that does happen, it would be the first time since 2008 that WWE’s flagship television program hasn’t been rated TV-PG, enjoy!

TV-14 isn't even as edgy as it was in let's say 1999 or 2002. It's pretty much the equivalent of PG-13 in the film industry which also has changed its standard for the worse and has become more child oriented. It's not gonna make much of a difference.

It's the complete opposite actually. When American Dad first moved to TBS a few years ago, they also changed to TV-14 and those episodes were raunchier, had stronger swear words and focused on more taboo subjects than any episode in the first 3 seasons of South Park, which was TV-M back then.

At best promos will become raunchier which really isn't a big deal since they had already been saying "Bitch" and "Ass" more times in the last few years compared to 2009 or 2010, but they will have to take into consideration of sponsors and advertisers who will likely not allow content like bra and panties or frequent blood, or controversial angles weekly like we got back during the Attitude era and early Ruthless Aggression eras. By today standards, that stuff was X rated and TV-MA.
