Just more of an example of WWE not being able to book babyfaces right. Drew had somewhat of an edge as heel when he returned, but then slowly started becoming less so in late 2019-2020 when he first won the title. Then started doing this whole goofy sword shtick which plays no role in any match whatsoever. I personally knew it was over for him when he cried after winning the Rumble.

The sword shit should only be a prop for the fire in his entrance, nothing more. Giving it more relevance than that was cringe considering he never even uses the thing. At least when he tried to murder people with it once in a Battle Royale it was hilarious.
