Theory didnt go to college and went directly into wrestling. Got a gig at EVOLVE early on and was booked so he could learn and eventually go to WWE since they had eyes on him, which has a partnership with WWE. So he's been in proto-development for like 6 years.

Theory is much better in the ring, but that also barely matters. Cena was leagues ahead of Theory from a character/charisma standpoint and that's what made him a star.
