>>6445855I wouldn't call winning the Intercontinental title, which other than the 24/7 title is the least focused, least pushed, least respected title by Vince McMahon in the entire company, not being on the last PPV, and having zero wins over a notable star since coming to the main roster a "rocket strap". In no universe do I see the push he's getting and think "He's definitely a future WWE Champion". I see literally no difference thus far between the way they're treating him and the way they treated Wade Barrett post Nexus. I do not have high hopes for him in any company run by Vince McMahon. European talent does not historically get world title runs with incredibly few exceptions.
And let's be honest, "stern, mean faced old school heel who thinks wrestling is sacred" is not exactly Vince McMahons favourite character. Vince has about as much respect for wrestling as Jim Cornette has for Orange Cassidy.
