I think the solution to heels being liked in wrestling is giving them actual gimmicks that people are scared of. Like a corrupt fed gimmick who stops certain attacks on wrestlers but won’t stop other attacks in order to make the roster seem dangerous enough for more feds and security, that would hit home with people and make a legit heel.
