>"Sting did an interview. He said, the reason he never went to WWE was because of the way they treated Booker T when he first got there. He said I was disrespected by The Rock when I first got there, I should have been treated better. And what he was talking about when me and Rock, we did our angle and Rock goes, who are you? And I go, my name is..he goes, 'It doesn't matter what your name is.' " >"For him to have missed out on, 15 years, maybe of time, because of that angle I did with The Rock, I thought that was, very, you know, what word should I use because I don't want to disparage him or anything like that but I just thought that was a very unwise thing to do," said Booker T. Sting is a little bitch. That was the Rock's entire gimmick - far lesser wrestlers went through the wringer while the Rock was on the mic, but the Rock would always let them get their moveset in during a match. Sounds more like Sting just wanted to sit on his guaranteed paycheck for a while.

Was he too afraid to be fired and go work the indies like Sting did? Booker could've killed Dwayne.

sting got worked by the rock. wcw fans and wrestlers thought wrestling was a shoot. wwe fans and wrestlers knew wrestling was a work. wwe won because they were right. it is a work. sting got smartened up tho at least later on

Sting said even through the 90s whenever he talked to Vince, it always felt more like he wanted Sting so WCW wouldn't have him and less about actually wanting to push Sting as a star. He was right. There was a pitch to wrestle Kurt Angle at WM 19 And Rock requested to work with him. Undertaker never wanted to work with him.

>>6459554 Sting was completely correct. His actual WWE run culminated in a match where he jobbed to Triple H after D-X and the nWo both did run-ins. Not the Wolfpack, which Sting had actually been a member of, but the original nWo which he feuded with for almost three straight years. It was retarded and extremely obvious that it was Triple H's last victory lap over WCW.
He also made a fuckload of money from convention appearances and TNA, probably far more than he would have if he got jobbed to shit and back like every other WCW star.
