I'm not sure about worst but it definitely has an identity crisis. Some weeks, AEW seems like a promotion catering to its ~900K smarks, other weeks it seems like it tries to be Nitro/Thunder, and yes even some weeks it mimics WWE to try and garner more mainstream success.

As much as AEW sucks, no. There have been worse. Really the worst feds are the ones youve never heard of. Any fed that youve heard of was at least successful to some degree.

As far as mainstream promotions with a major tv deal, yes. But there are countless mid-major promotions who are currently worse. NWA, GCW, and Impact to name a few.
