In this case, Eddie doesn't deserve the heat and is being kept on TV because of Jericho. Jericho stealing Eddie's heat and pushing him out the door to before carrying another indie guy for half a year is better for the company in the long run. Regardless of your opinion of Jericho, he is objectively more valuable than Eddie.
I would feel bad if he was doing this to Darby, although Darby is a perpetual jobber anyway. Actually Darby is the perfect person to be in Eddie's current position and we would get some cool Jericho/Sting interactions to. Darby would actually bump unlike Eddie. For multiman matches you could bring in somebody like Beeg on Darby's side because of the connection to Sting.

Kingston is the main reason it's gone on so long and has had it's worse moments. If he didn't fuck up in blood and guts and made Jericho bleed like it was intended it would have been over. Also, if Kingston hadn't fucked up multiple spots last night or had the balls to blade in a fuckin deathmatch it would have been even better. The two fuck ups last night were the cage not opening right away (luckily they were smart enough to work around it instantly and cut away rather than focus the camera on it for 5 minutes like the Rumble match with Owens and Roman) and Kingston fucking up the ending with Jericho/Sammy.

You underestimate how big of a mark Tony Khan was for the indies, along with pandering to smarks, and keeping the long term storytelling going. Kingston and Claudio had a feud and Chikara and in the end Eddie was supposed to gover but Claudio got signed by WWE before the match happened. I know Omega intended the long term story telling thing to be based on subtle things that happen in matches, but this shit is as subtle as a brick to the face. This isn’t going to end anytime soon. Tony Khan is also a massive mark for Jericho. This isn’t going to end until Jericho gets bored of it

Jericho Kingston 1 was a legitimately great match, arguably match of the year, but that has been the only good singles match to come out of this entire feud. For multi man matches, only Anarchy In The Arena was any good. Tony needs to cut out the WCW run in bullshit and just let the boys do what they do best. Last night's match was going well until Tay showed up and ruined everything. Jericho can and has elevated some of the people he's worked with but Kingston is starting to look like a lost cause unless they can just have a complete singles match again.
