That said even though Darby was probably the best option to win the Men’s tourney, his coffin shtick makes it a bit awkward. I would have made him BEAT JEFF HARDY and pass the torch of Crazy death defying motherfucker. After that, I’d have him lose to Dax after missing some crazy high risk move. Finals would be O’Rilley/Dax which aside from providing a much better final match, boosts the Tag division even more.
I would not have done a women’s tourney at all but if they were going to do it either way, Maki should’ve made it to the finals if Johnny Elite wasn’t.
Starting at the quarters for both I would’ve had it as:
O’Rilley/Joe
Dax/Darby
O’Rilley/Dax - Dax wins
Itoh/DMD
Riho/Statlander
Maki/Riho - Riho wins
