AEW fans would not accept Brock. Even though Brock is legit one of the best wrestlers on Earth and looks like a monster which means he's dimes, they can't get over the fact that he doesn't need wrestling and can afford to demand a light schedule. If you aren't sawdusting yourself every single night for this "This is awesome!" chants then you don't belong. They are whacked in the head.

If that happens (which it most likely will), yeah pro wrestling will be deader than ever. AEW did have something good going for them during a time last year with Darby and Miro's TNT title runs, the CM Punk return, the Christian Cage vs. Kenny Omega feuding over 2 world titles, that great match between the two on the debut episode of rampage, All Out, Bryan Danielson's debut and match with Omega, even Adam Cole wasn't insufferable yet since he was wrestling spot monkey trios matches with the Bucks vs. Jungle Express/Cage which we're fun. They had good momentum and they squandered all of it.

The fans, the wrestlers themselves, the bookers, everyone is somehow implicit in the state of wrestling nowadays. I haven't watched a full wrestling show for a few weeks which is a long time for me. I'm going to my first local show in over 2 years tonight though, hopefully that'll bring back some hope.
