There's a midpoint between "heatless 20 minute spoterino" matches and "Entrance, commercial, entrance, promo, and nothing else" that happened on Smackdown today.
Not like it did anything to actually establish who Aliyah is, despite giving her ample screen time to stand around and wait to get yelled at and hit.

It's okay to admit both shows can suck and not gargle one brand's dick sometimes.

I miss when heels and faces could just say "this dude fucking sucks and i'm going to beat him half to death" rather than always putting them over in a way. If you listen to a lot of WWE promos now, you don't get that. You get the halfhearted "X is good but i'm better" approach at best. There's no real heat or anger anymore
