Anyone who knows anything about Lesnar and has followed his career for any length of time should know that this story about him walking out when he heard Vince was gone is 100% true. He's an old-school dude that knows what he's worth and has always negotiated like this. He's also loyal and only respects a handful of people. If he left Nu Japan for Inoki, of course he wasn't going to take Vince leaving lying down.

Why would a guy who described Vince as "like a second father" get upset when he found out his boss was forced to retire? People aren't talking about how "unprofessional" this is because its Brock Lesnar. Unlike Sasha and Naomi, people actually like him.

More to the speculating though, I see three scenarios:

1. This is a work. Manufacture some extra controversy to get more eyes on the product and its new direction.

2. Brock was pissed about Vince leaving and doesn't want to answer to Stephanie and Tony Khan. Vince probably ended up calling Brock and convincing him to come back and hang around until the end of Summerslam.

3. Brock used Vince leaving to mercenary more money out of WWE.

All scenarios seem plausible.
