it's true. AEW got its best consistent ratings when he was gone and only after Cody and then Punk left did the ratings fall off a cliff. Omegay is meaningless in the grand scheme of wrestling, him and the bucks just appeal to the obese cagematch/Meltzer crowd which is as niche as you can get
