This is true. Summer of Punk lost ratings even before the Nash shit. He's not really done anything to improve ratings since he's been in AEW either. He tried being a TV host and that fell through and he was stuck as a panelist on Nerdist shit. KWABman Phil is basically a dimeless geek that message board posters are convinced is a huge star with massive crossover appeal because he was a decent looking guy who could cut a promo when they were watching grainy ROH and IWA:MS tapes 20 years ago at a time where the indies was starting to transition away from aging WWF castoffs having matches at fairgrounds.
