It's almost always cringe. Only retards think stuff like Bray Wyatt's maggots or Undertaker's lightning is cool. They end up turning in to dungeons and dragons mages, not pro wrestlers.

I can agree with that, but what about the characters that weren't really supernatural and whom you could easily sell to the crowd as just being nutcases?
Sure the Undertaker for a while was an undead zombie thing, but iirc during the attitude era he just played the character of a cult leader
Or Kane, his story was that he was just a mentally deranged guy who got burned as a kid and was left traumatized for life
Bray pre-fiend was also pretty much just a hick cult leader
And so on
All of these sound like plausible things to me, even if a bit farfetched because you definitely wouldn't employ a satanic cult leader but I digress.
