I have seen quite a few family businesses dissolve in this fashion. Vince strikes first thinking they wouldn't go there and oh yeah they did. Shane being sidelined was on his own I think. Forced succession is never really that bad of a thing unless you have inept successors I think steph and Trips should be fine.

Nick Khan doesn't care about running the company, he is just there to get a big cut of whatever deal he can make. It's possible he worked with Stephanie and HHH though if he thought Vince was an impediment to getting the best deal possible.
