Honestly it seems like he was genuinely upset that there wasn't a roadmap for his next few months on the roster. Dude's entire reign was an afterthought, especially since Khan bought it. Khan obviously didn't want him as the champ and he took this opportunity to get it off him. Gresham could go back to the midcard but obviously he felt like as a former world champ he should "level up". Hell even Jericho, Mox and Hangman went back to the midcard after their run, I dunno why this lil dude was so upset at letting someone else have a go

ROH's only worth is the tape library and only for putting together promo packages and to pad out the AEW library to sell to HBO.
