For reference, Moxley (as he said in an early interview after he signed) was on a multi-million deal where he could opt-out anytime after one year, meaning he can leave whenever he wants, and it is in his contract that he is the top-paid guy so when they signed Punk they had to bump Mox to make sure he was getting paid as much or more than Punk. Mox seems fucking dumb but he isn't because he left WWE in a smart way and covered all his bases with contracts.
