Max still might stick with Tony, but judging Triple H's NXT record, it's actually in his best interest to go with whatever company offers the best deal moneywise. That would not've been the case if that size queen Vince was still around. He probably would've had his name changed to something humiliating like "Adam Schneider" or "Glenn Liebowitz" and would've been made manager of some oversized shitter who wasn't good enough to play proball in the Euroleagues, let alone the NBA.

AEW insider here. MJF has gotten a huge new deal and signed on for at least 5 more years in AEW. He's selling his promo, being "removed from the company", and he would've come back sooner but Punk's injury caused problems and put everything on ice.

The plan right now is WWE guy (or Corporate) Punk comes back, wins back title from Mox, then MJF immediately winning the title from Punk. Both sides form teams to duke it out on a PPV called AEW: Civil War, basically our version of Survivor Series. MJF leading a team of AEW originals and Punk leading former WWE guys.

No word yet on plans for guys like Mox but likely will be part of the originals, causing a split in the Blackpool Combat Club with Daniel Bryan joining Punk's team.
