I think it’s more of an ego thing for Punk at this point, and Moxley has been heavily protected. Punk going over Moxley is more impressive. Unless Moxley starts shooting on Punk in promos, I think Punk will eat the bruises to his ego if they cheer for Moxley over him.

Cena never wanted to be booked the way he was and had no problem putting people over, but by the time he got the belt everyone had already had their star diminished by the reign of terror so there was nobody credible to put over

Cuckman on the other hand joined a loaded roster full of guys who got over organically in AEW, and swiftly buried everyone he feuded with, not a single person has got a rub from Punk they get sent down the card and lose their momentum, and unlike Cena his matches don't even have a big match feel to them.

Yeah. At this point I really don’t know who can be the “heel” for punk to win against. It’s frustrating that there’s no champion right now because the booker of the year won’t just let punk drop the belt and let others elevate the championship. Instead we get stakeless matches for a belt that means nothing because cuck man is going to win no matter what.
