[Flash report]
Due to Misa Kagura (JTO) missing today's Ice Ribbon dojo event due to poor health, it was decided that Nao Ishikawa (28) will suddenly make her in-ring return as a substitute.
Ishikawa will be returning after being sidelined due to cerebrospinal fluid hypovolemia, which she received epidural blood patch treatment for.
It is also likely that she will fill in for Misa Kagura tomorrow at Korakuen Hall (7.31 JST).
Since her debut in 2020, Nao Ishikawa's career has followed a pattern of "stop-starts" due to various injuries and conditions.
In September 2019, Ishikawa's debut was delayed due to cerebrospinal fluid loss.
In August 2020, Ishikawa was sidelined with a large ovarian cyst that required surgery.
In May 2021, Ishikawa was sidelined with a rib fracture and a rib cartilage fracture.
In August 2021, Ishikawa was sidelined with a left radial distal end fracture.
Let us pray Nao Ishikawa makes a safe and healthy return to the ring and avoids health issues from here on out!
