I've been to house shows in Liverpool and Manchester on the last loop (free tickets with work). Drew got a good reaction but nothing special. Walter got a much bigger pop. I think they over estimate how popular Drew is I don't think the crowd will care as much as they hope. Nothing even close to what Wembley was like for the Bulldog. Hell, Bret was more over with the uk crowds than Drew will ever be. It can't compete with 92. They're crowning the wrong guy. The issue is, there isn't a right guy though. No idea what they should do but Drew winning is not it

Yeah you're 100% right but he isn't over enough for the crowd in Cardiff to care like wwe want them to. He's more over than the other candidates, sure, but he's just the best option from a list of bad options

Not suprised with the over the top braveheart-type gimmick. Clash at the Castle will be in Wales with a majority English audience. I'm going, but I'm not too fussed about seeing Drew, he's just boring. I'd sooner see Wade Barrett.

Yeah, I'm Welsh and i'll be there. Drew is fine but I don't overly care about him. I'd lose my shit if Walter was getting that push though. Barrett would be great, shit i'd take Nick Aldis. Drew as the top guy has passed now for me.
