1st RAW is War was March 1997. Austin vs Hart is a staple of the Attitude Era (happened at Wrestlemania 13). Formation of DX and Montreal Screwjob and debut of Kane are all part of the Attitude Era.

Vince made it clear December 1997 but it was already Attitude before then.

Attitude era didn't officially begin until the 12/15/97 raw (technically survivor series 97 if you want to be literal). Raw is war branding began in march of 97 but with a few exceptions it was the same old wwf until much later in the year.

Yes that's the literal part. I say 12/15 raw because that was when vince cut that promo and also it was when they started using the scratch logo as the tv watermark.
