For those of you who don't know,
www.xwt.com is a piratebay-like website designed strictly for wrestling and mma. It has come to the attention of other new users and myself that XWT is intentionally making their mandatory download to seed ratio unattainable in order to gouge the pockets of new users. The ratio seems low at first (0.7%) but is literally unattainable within the 7 days you are given by the moderators. Then you're asked to make a 'donation' in order to get a higher ratio or threatened with banishment. The moderators of XWT know full well the ratio is unattainable and that once you make a donation and you start to download again, your ratio is going to drop and you're going to be forced to make another 'donation' in order to continue downloading.
I get what we are doing on these types of websites is already illegal, but to intentionally rip off unsuspecting new users is shameful! Being a huge fan of wrestling, old and new, I thought XWT was going to be the greatest website I had ever found, but it ended up being the exact opposite, when on the same day I joined I had my download privileges revoked and had a moderator tell me to 1. seed the torrents I downloaded (which I was) 2. upload my own torrents (which I had) 3. make a donation (which I refused to do) 4. leave (which I did, once I was banned for asking too many questions about the ratios and donations)
Long story short, don't pay these fuckers a dime! They're only interested in themselves, not in the good nature of sharing...
