not only was sid mega over, but he was a solid wrestler and he could talk quite well. unfortunately the few times he messed up (or was booked to be a screw up i.e. why me) were so embarrassing that they will continue to overshadow the rest of his work to most fans.

I met Sid in 1997 when I was 9 and he was significantly larger than the entire high school auditorium crowd. He absolutely mogged his opponent in a squash match with a powerbomb through a table and took $5 Polaroids with everyone in the ring after. Meeting him was a surreal experience as a child because you knew with ease he could just squash your head like a bug.
